Public Engagement Grant (endocrinology)

The Public Engagement Grant from the Society for Endocrinology supports the organization, production, and delivery of outreach activities, aimed at school children and/or the general public related to research on endocrinology. The type of funded activities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Hands-on activities that can be used in classrooms or during home schooling (including resources such as worksheets, factsheets or quizzes) e.g. Make your own body clock
  • Endocrine-themed science practicals e.g. Testing blood sugar level
  • Diagrams and images to enhance You and Your Hormones articles
  • Short, YouTube-style videos or podcasts
  • Interactive online games

Applicants must be members of the Society. Applicants may apply for up to 1000 GBP in funding. This Grant is awarded biannually and the next application closes on March 22, 2023.
