The Recherche en milieu collégial – soutien à des projets en équipe / 2027-2028 program from the Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ) supports teams led by college and college technology transfer centre (CCTT) researchers carrying out health research projects. It aims to build a diverse, high-quality health research base in Quebec’s college network, retain excellent college researchers, introduce students to health research, and strengthen collaboration and knowledge transfer between college and university research settings. All proposals must align with the FRQ’s sustainable health principle.
Applications must be submitted by a principal investigator who is a researcher at a Quebec college or CCTT (FRQ status 3), working with at least one co-investigator holding FRQ status 1, 2 or 3. If the principal investigator holds a master’s degree, at least one team member must hold a doctorate. Teachers and researchers in non-permanent positions are eligible if they remain employed at a Quebec college or CCTT for the duration of the grant, and the principal investigator’s institution must be recognized by the FRQ to manage funding.
The grant provides up to 55,000 CAD per year for up to 3 years, with an additional amount to cover indirect research costs.
Pre-applications close on October 21, 2026, and full applications close on January 14, 2027.
