Renal Section Young Investigator Award (Worldwide)

The 2024 Renal Section Young Investigator Award funded by American Physiological Society supports young investigators working in the field of renal physiology, pathophysiology or hypertension. Candidates will be selected based on their nomination letters, publications, funding record and contribution to the research community. The recipient will be recognized at the 2024 American Physiology Summit and will be invited and strongly encouraged to write a review to be published in the American Journal of Physiology-Renal Physiology.

Applicants must be an APS member and must receive nomination from an APS member. Applicants must be less than 41 years of age or less than 15 years beyond earning their first doctoral. Winner will receive 1,000 USD for advance registration reimbursement to the 2024 APS annual meeting, and a ticket to the section banquet dinner. The last date for application is on February 28, 2023.
