RESEARCH FUNDING

Research Grants (spinal cord injury worldwide)

Share

The Research Grants from the Morton Cure Paralysis Fund (MCPF) provide seed funding for researchers to generate proof-of-concept data that would enable them to apply for further large-scale competitive research funding. The MCPF funds projects that contribute to the development of therapies for spinal cord injuries and paralysis in humans. Basic science projects may be funded if these are innovative paradigm-shifting studies. Funding is not intended as salary, except in the cases whereby the lead applicant/PI is a postdoctoral fellow. There are two assessment rounds per year with closing dates on April 30 and October 31.

The next applications close on October 31, 2023.
