The Research Project Grant from the Brottsofferfonden offers funding opportunities for research projects aimed at enhancing understanding and support for crime victims. Applicants are encouraged to align their projects with the fund’s goal of increasing knowledge about crime victims and improving their treatment and support.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Research projects must be conducted and managed at a university, college, research institute, or an authority with a research mission in Sweden.
  2. The main applicant must hold a completed doctorate by the application deadline.

Projects can be funded for up to three years, with decisions made annually. Continuation grant applications are required for multi-year projects.

Applications are accepted twice a year, with deadlines on April 1 and October 1. The next deadline is October 1, 2024.
