Scholar (Career Development) Awards (USA childhood cancers)

The Scholar (Career Development) Awards from the St. Baldrick’s Foundation provide funding for US-based early-career researchers working on childhood cancers. Applicants must hold a Ph.D., M.D., or D.O. degree in the research discipline of the application, have a full-time faculty appointment for not more than 7 years at the time of the initiation of the Award. The host institution must be in the USA; applicants must have the legal right to work in the USA but do not necessarily have to be US citizens or permanent residents. The Award provides 110,000 USD/year for the first 2 years; the Award may be renewed for up to 3 years at 115,000 USD/year to cover the applicant´s salary and other costs. Letters of Intent are due on December 2, 2022 and invited full applications are due on February 17, 2023.
