The Carlsberg Mindelegat grants from the Carlsberg Foundation support PhD researchers in Danish institutions in communicating their research to promote popular education and general interest in basic research and science. The aim is to promote collaborations between researchers and professional communicators to strengthen research and the position of science in society and in public conversation and debate. This grant does not support communication of clinical health-scientific research. The project must involve the communication of basic research or science. The project can be independently defined or form part of a larger project, and the project may be co-financed with funds from another party. It must involve collaboration with professional communicators with documented experience of e.g. journalism or media production. Applications may request between 50,000 to 200,000 DKK for up to two years.
Applications are due on March 1 and September 1. The next applications close on March 1, 2024.
