Serendipity grants (dermatology worldwide)
The Serendipity grants from the LEO Foundation support current foundation grantees to perform explorative investigations of novel and unexpected, also known as serendipitous, ideas or discoveries, which have emerged as a consequence of investigations performed during a current LEO Foundation-funded project. Applicants must be current recipients of LEO Foundation grants. Applicants may apply for up to 4 million DKK over 2 years. The funds may be used for:
- Salary and mandatory benefits for the main applicant
- Salary and mandatory benefits for project-group members (scientific and technical)
- Running costs / operating expenses incl. bench fees
- Equipment
- Publication costs
- Travel and conference expenses (conference support only for active participation)
- Indirect administrative costs up to 5%
