The Singapore Food Story R&D Programme 2 - 'Future Foods' Grant Call from the National Research Foundation (NRF) of Singapore supports R&D for future foods in specific areas of focus in cultured meat growth media, customisable scaffolds, as well as optimisation of bioprocessing for both cultured meat and microbial proteins. This grant call serves as a platform for knowledge creation and discovery science through supporting R&D in areas with mid Technology Readiness Levels (TRL1), and aims to encourage researchers, technology providers and potential adopters to codevelop innovative solutions for Future Foods, especially in the Cultivated Meat (CM) and Microbial Protein (MP) areas.
Applicants may apply for up to 8 million SGD (including 30% indirect costs) for 4 years.
