Special Project Grants (cardiovascular research UK)
The Special Project Grants from the British Heart Foundation provide research funding for senior cardiovascular researchers in the UK working on basic science projects that costs more than 350,000 GBP or would last longer than 3 years. The British Heart Foundation’s grants do not cover institutional overheads and indirect costs. This grant type also provides funding for epidemiology projects. Funding may be used for salaries, research consumables, equipment and travel costs. Applicants may submit a preliminary application at any time, and may only submit a full application with approval from the Foundation.
