Study Abroad Studentships (UK-affiliated students)

The Study Abroad Studentships from the Leverhulme Trust provide funding for UK students to study abroad (not in the USA) for 12-24 months. Applicants must have resided in the UK for at least 3 years at the time of application, hold an undergraduate degree and a degree from a UK institution (current PhD students in the UK are exempt from this requirement), be a current student or have registered as a student in the past 8 years. Successful applicants receive an annual maintenance allowance of 21,000 GBP (direct costs only). Applications from all subject areas will be considered, except for those studies of disease, illness, and disabilities in humans and animals, or research that is intended to inform clinical practice or the development of medical applications, as these projects are well served by other funders. This is an annual award and the next applications open on September 1, 2022 and close on January 9, 2023.
