Thieme-IUPAC Prize 2024 (synthetic chemistry | worldwide)
The Thieme-IUPAC Prize for 2024 from the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) together with Thieme, recognizes an early-career researcher's impact in synthetic organic chemistry. The 2024 prize will be awarded to a scientist who must be no older than 42 years of age on Jan. 1, 2024. The prize will be awarded based on scientific merit for independent research dealing with synthesis in the broadest context of organic chemistry, including organometallic chemistry, medicinal and biological chemistry. This award is presented every two years and includes 5000 EUR prize money for the recipient.
