Fondazione Telethon (FT) is an Italian charity recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research. The Foundation’s mission is to advance biomedical research toward cures for rare genetic diseases. The Foundation supports researchers and research in Italy on rare genetic diseases.

Open Access Policy: The Foundation requires results from its funded research to be made freely available as soon as possible, latest within 6 months of publication. Should grantees choose to publish their research with immediate open access, Authors can choose to use part of their active grant to cover OA expenses.
