The Advanced Clinical Research Award (ACRA) for Diversity and Inclusion in Ovarian Cancer Research is funded by Conquer Cancer and the Susan & Teresa Schwab Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation to support the career development of ovarian cancer researchers who are from underrepresented populations in biomedical research. In the USA, such underrepresented populations include Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, American Indian or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islanders. Applicants must

  • be a physicians (with MD, DO or other international equivalent degree);
  • have had a successful postdoctoral training;
  • demonstrated the ability to lead independent research projects;
  • be within 4-9 years of their first faculty appointment in the USA;
  • and are ASCO members.

The Award provides 450,000 USD over 3 years, including travel support to attend the Conquer Cancer Grants and Awards Ceremony at the ASCO Annual Meeting.

Letters of intent are due on June 10, 2024. Applications close on August 12, 2024.
