The Advanced Research Grants in ALS, funded by the Radala Foundation for ALS Research, aim to support established, leading principal investigators worldwide in conducting high-quality research on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).


  • Principal Investigators (PIs) are expected to be active researchers with a track record of significant research achievements within the last 10 years.
  • Investigators active in ALS research or closely related fields are encouraged to submit proposals relevant to ALS.
  • Research must be conducted at a public or private research organization, referred to as a Host Institution (HI).

This grant provides up to 200,000 CHF over a period of 2 years (no indirect costs).

Applications are due on June 30, 2024.
