AGA Abstract Award for Health Disparities Research (gastroenterology USA, Canada & Mexico)

The AGA Abstract Award for Health Disparities Research from the AGA Research Foundation supports graduate students, medical students, medical residents (residents up to postgraduate year three), clinical fellows or postdoctoral fellows giving abstract-based oral or poster presentations at Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) that communicate research into health or health care disparities. Applicants do not need to be members of AGA but their mentors must be members of AGA. Applicants must be based in the USA, Canada or Mexico. Applicants who are physician-scientists, female or from racial/ethnic groups underrepresented in biomedical research are strongly encouraged to apply. The award provides 500 USD.

This is an annual award and the next applications open on December 7, 2022, and close on February 25, 2023.
