The AGA-Aman Armaan Ahmed Family Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship from the AGA Research Foundation supports undergraduate students from groups traditionally underrepresented in biomedical research to perform 10 weeks of research related to digestive diseases under the mentorship of top investigators in the fields of gastroenterology and hepatology. Applicants must be current undergraduates and not seniors expecting to graduate in the coming year. Applicants must identify with a group traditionally underrepresented in biomedical research. Mentors must be AGA members. The Fellowship provides 5400 USD of funding support for 10 weeks of summer fellowship, plus 400 USD for travel and 400 USD for meals. This is an annual award and the next applications open on September 1 and close on December 14, 2022.
