The APDA Diversity in Parkinson’s disease Research Grant from the American Parkinson Disease Association supports research projects that address health inequities and/or differences among under-studied Parkinson’s disease communities, across the spectrum of ethnicity, ancestry, geography, socioeconomic conditions, and gender. The grants are open to all researchers (PhD, MD, or MD/PhD) around the world. The Grants provide up to 75,000 USD for 1 year. 10% of the funding can be used for indirect costs. Funding is not to be used for:

  • Travel expenses.
  • Publication costs higher than $1,000.
  • Equipment costs higher than $8,000.

Letters of intent are due on December 16, 2023 and invited full applications are due in March 2024.
