The Edmond J. Safra Fellowship in Movement Disorders funded by The Michael J. Fox Foundation provides funding to established movement disorder institutions worldwide to train a movement disorder clinician-researcher over a two-year period. The program grants funding directly to academic centers, which then must identify and train a new movement disorder clinician-researcher over a two-year period. Grant support cannot be used for a fellow already enrolled or selected. These funds may cover the fellow’s stipend, benefits and travel allowance as well as coursework, conferences, and other relevant educational and training opportunities. No indirect costs may be claimed for this award. Individuals are not allowed to apply but are encouraged to inform their prospective centers of the opportunity. The fellowship provides 180,000 USD over 2 years.

This is an annual fellowship and the next applications close on December 5, 2024.
