The ASH Medical Student Physician-Scientist Award from the American Society of Hematology (ASH) supports medical students in their first three years of medical school to conduct a 1-year long hematology research project. Applicants must be enrolled in an MD or DO medical program in the USA or Canada and are members of ASH. The award provides $42,000 of funding for a one-year period, which includes $32,000 to support the trainee, $4,000 for research supplies, $4,000 for insurance and educational expenses (including one course), and $2,000 for meeting attendance (including the ASH annual meeting).

This is an annual award and the next applications close on February 1, 2024.
