The Cities of Tomorrow R&D Programme, RIE2025 – Grant Call 2 (Vertical 3 – New Spaces) – Project 1: Analytics of Site Investigation, Instrument & Tunnelling Data to Predict Potential Issues in Tunnelling and Deep Excavation from the National Research Foundation (NRF) of Singapore supports innovative solutions for future cities, specifically effects of tunnelling and deep excavations. Applicants must be from Singapore-based Institutions of Higher Learning (IHLs), companies, company-affiliated research laboratories or institutions and not-for-profit entities. Grant applicants are strongly encouraged to collaborate with industry partners to develop innovative solutions that can address the call objectives and demonstrate strong potential for real-world application within and beyond Singapore. Applicants may apply for up to 1 million SGD (including 30% indirect costs) for 2 years.
