Collaborative Sciences Award (USA cardiology)

The Collaborative Sciences Award from the American Heart Association (AHA) supports collaborative research teams working in the USA and addressing cardiovascular challenges. At least one co-PI must be a researcher with an established track record in cardiovascular research, and at least one co-PI must have expertise in another field (e.g. engineering, computer science, chemistry, mathematics, psychology, health law, etc.). All co-PIs must have a faculty appointment and hold a M.D., Ph.D., D.O., D.D.S., D.V.M or equivalent highest degree in their discipline. All applicants must be AHA members when submitting the full application. The Award provides 250,000 USD per year (including 10% institutional indirect costs) for 3 years. Letters of intent are due on October 4, 2023. Invited full applications are due on January 10, 2024.
