The Cournand and Comroe Early Career Investigator Prize in Cardiopulmonary, Critical Care, Perioperative and Resuscitation from the American Heart Association (AHA)’s Council Cardiopulmonary, Critical Care, Perioperative and Resuscitation (3CPR) recognizes the council’s early career investigator members who are performing high-quality research in the fields of pulmonary, perioperative, resuscitation, or critical care biology. Applicant must be active in research and within 10 years of completion of terminal degree or highest certificate. Graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, instructors, and research associates are welcome to apply. All applicants must be members of the Council Cardiopulmonary, Critical Care, Perioperative and Resuscitation (3CPR). Applicants must submit an abstract for AHA’s Scientific Sessions 2023.
The winner will receive a $1,500 honorarium, a complimentary council dinner ticket, plus recognition at the council dinner.
