The Crazy 8 Initiative Program on Childhood Cancer Predisposition from the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) provides funding for researchers working on childhood cancer predisposition and prevention. Specifically, the Program focuses on:

  • New Gene Discovery
  • Genotype-phenotype correlations
  • Surveillance optimization
  • Predisposition Models
  • Cancer Prevention

The focus must be on pediatric/adolescent cancer predisposition and should be a consortium of two or more institutions with different areas of research collaborating to integrate their expertise. Applicants may apply for up to 5 million USD (including 10% indirect costs) over 4 years.

Letters of intent are due on January 8, 2024. Invited full applications are due on April 17, 2024.
