RESEARCH FUNDING

Center for Complex Cellular Systems (Sweden)

Share

The Center for Complex Cellular Systems funding call from the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) supports the formation of a multidisciplinary research center for complex cellular systems in Sweden. Complex cellular systems consist of different cell types that build up 3d models that mimic parts of human tissue or organs. The systems provide better copies than animal models and traditional cell cultures, making research results more reliable. The proposed research must have a clear relevance to human health and be a development of new complex cellular models. The grant provides 60 million SEK over 6 years (including overheads).
