The Doctoral focal awards in the arts and humanities from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) support UK research organizations providing doctoral training programs in arts and humanities for creative economy or for a healthy planet, people, and place. Applications are invited from eligible UK higher education institutions (HEIs) to host a consortium-model doctoral training grant. Applications are invited from consortia applications and individual HEIs are not eligible. The award supports between 20 and 30 studentships over the lifetime of the award providing funding based on four years per student (stipend and fees). This includes individual training and development activity for the student; cohort-based training and development activity; and additional stipend for collaborative awards and London weighting where applicable. The duration of this award is a minimum of eight years.
Applications close on July 2, 2024.
