The Dorothy Hodgkin Fellowship from The Royal Society provides funding for researchers who are ready for an independent research career and require flexible working hours. Funding is open to researchers in the natural sciences, which includes but is not limited to biological research, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, and physics. Applicants should have completed their doctorate in the past 6 years. The research must be conducted in the UK. The Fellowship provides 80% of the basic salary costs starting at 41,340 GBP + indirect costs + additional research-related costs (ca. 12,000 GBP per year) for up to 5 years.
