The EAPCI Education and Training Grants from the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI) offer clinical training in interventional cardiology for 12 months in ESC member countries.
Applicants should be a citizen or permanent residents from a country among the ESC National Cardiac Societies or should be working or training at the time of application in a country that is among the ESC National Cardiac Societies. Subject to applications received, 50% of the 2022 EAPCI Education and Training Grants will be allocated to women.
Candidates can be medical graduates with publishing history in medical journals or can be science graduates holding a Ph.D. or DPhil degree or equivalent or have submitted a thesis before starting the training period relating to the grant. Applicants must be under 40 years of age on the day of the application deadline and be a member of the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI).
The grant provides up to 25,000 EUR.
Applications open on December 1, 2023 and close on January 15, 2024.
