The FEMS Industry Placement Grants from the Federation of European Microbiological Societies (FEMS) provide funding for early-career microbiologists who would like to gain industry experience. Industry experience may include both laboratory and non-laboratory work related to microbiology. Applicants must be members of FEMS member societies and the industry placement must take place in Europe. Applicants must be current PhD students or have completed their PhD in the past 5 years. Applicants may apply for up to 5000 EUR in funding support to cover accommodation and subsistence costs during the visit. Applications are assessed twice per year, with closing dates on February 1 and August 1.
