The Global Innovation Fellowships: Carnegie Endowment for International Peace from The British Academy provide opportunities to UK-based early- and mid-career researchers from across the humanities and social sciences to develop their skills, networks and careers in the creative and cultural, public, private and policy sectors to address challenges that require innovative approaches and solutions. This is a new programme for The British Academy – Fellowship award holders will be based in the office of Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in the USA. The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace generates strategic ideas and independent analysis, supports diplomacy, and trains the next generation of international scholar-practitioners to help countries and institutions take on the most difficult global problems and safeguard peace. Applications are invited in any of the following areas:

  • Sustainability, Climate and Geopolitics.
  • Technology and International Affairs.
  • Democracy, Conflict & Governance.
  • Global Order and Institutions.
  • Nuclear Policy.

The Fellowship provides up to 150,000 GBP for 1 year (with Full Economic Costing at 80%).
