The Graduate Diversity Enrichment Program from the Burroughs Wellcome Fund supports underrepresented minority PhD students in North Carolina. Applicants must be citizens of the USA or Canada. The program provides 5000 USD for

  1. The graduate student to travel and participate in or present at conferences, workshops, courses and training.
  1. Costs associated with the purchase of equipment, materials and supplies related to their research, presentation, short course enrollment, workshops and training
  2. Participation in peer network system of diversity and/or underrepresented graduate students.

Applications are due June 15, 2023.
