The Stiftelsen Oscar och Lili Lamms Minne offers Grants for Doctoral Student Positions intended for doctoral students working on projects aligned with the foundation’s objectives at Swedish universities or colleges. The 2024 call for proposals will focus on landscape conservation and plant health.

For the 2024 call, the following guidelines apply:

  • The main applicant should serve as the primary supervisor for the doctoral student position.
  • The main applicant must hold a permanent position at a higher education institution in Sweden and must be an associate professor at the time of application.
  • Previously awarded projects must be completed before a new application can be submitted. Extensions are feasible but may delay future applications.
  • Only one application per grant form and call for proposals is permitted.
  • The grant must be managed by a university or college in Sweden, and the project must be conducted at the applicant’s institution.

The grant provides 550,000 SEK per year for a period of 4 years. The Foundation accepts overhead costs of up to a maximum of 35%. The deadline for applications for the 2024 call is June 3, 2024.
