The IASLC International Mentorship Program, offered by the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC), is a professional development and education initiative designed for early-career physicians and researchers specializing in thoracic malignancies from economically developing countries.

Award recipients are matched with seasoned scientific and clinical mentors from hospitals, healthcare, and research institutions located within the hosting WCLC region. Following the World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC), awardees will receive mentorship during the event and subsequently visit the mentor’s institution. During this visit, they will shadow the mentor and engage with other physicians and researchers at the mentor’s institution for approximately 5 days.

Applicants must be IASLC members and in the early stages of their careers, with less than 5 years since the start of their MD fellowship, PhD postdoctoral training, or equivalent training in their home country. Past recipients of this award are not eligible to apply.

The applications are due on April 5, 2024, at 23:59 PDT.
