The Improving Sarcoma Diagnosis Funding Call from the Bone Cancer Research Trust and Sarcoma UK supports scientific and clinical research projects which ultimately aim to drive positive change in how sarcomas are detected and diagnosed. 

This funding call provides large grants for substantive pieces of research supporting a member of staff up to a maximum value of 250,000 GBP. PhD studentships are not available through this funding opportunity.

The lead researcher must be employed by the host institution (which could be a UK-based university, research institute, or the NHS) for the entire duration of the grant before applying. It’s highly recommended to submit joint applications involving multiple institutions, even those located outside the UK.

Applications must be submitted by June 20, 2024, at 12pm midday (BST).
