Through the Innovation Awards, PTEN Research funds basic, translational, and clinical research in alignment with its strategic, including:
- Therapies for PHTS, with an initial focus on treatment options for non-malignant symptoms
- Improving management and potential prevention of cancer in PHTS
The Foundation welcomes applications that address key unknowns of the pathobiology of PHTS, that aim to identify/validate novel drug targets, or develop pre-clinical disease models of PHTS. A key consideration will be the translational potential of the work. The Foundation is also open to clinical research applications focused on PHTS. In general, the Foudation supports Principal Investigators who have qualified with an MD or PhD and have an established research programme in a recognised academic or clinical research institution.
Grant applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
