Internationalisation Fellowship (Denmark | natural and social sciences)

The Internationalisation Fellowship from the Carlsberg Foundation supports outstanding PhD graduates for a one-to-two year uninterrupted research stay/postdoctoral training at a leading international research institution outside Denmark. Applicants must have completed their PhD at a Danish research institution. Applicants should be within 3 years of completing their doctorates. The Internationalisation Fellowships are generally tax-free in Denmark, and amount to:

  • DKK 450,000 per year if the applicant is travelling alone
  • DKK 525,000 per year if the applicant is travelling with children.

This is a bi-annual award. The next applications open on January 31, 2023 and close on April 1, 2023.
