The ISHLT Acellular Ex Vivo Lung Perfusion (EVLP) Research Grant from The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT) and Lung Bioengineering supports research that aims to develop further advancements in acellular Ex Vivo Lung Perfusion (EVLP) technology. This could include various aspects, including optimization of perfusion techniques, intervention and repair strategies, immunomodulation and reconditioning, and outcomes research. Applications are open to pulmonology researchers worldwide. An individual who applies for a research grant while still in training must have been offered and accepted a faculty position that will begin on or before initiation of the grant OR submit a letter of institutional commitment from a division or department chair at the institution at which the research will be conducted, if still in training at initiation of the grant.

The Award provides 37,500 USD for 1 year (including 10% indirect costs).
