JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (Short-term) (Sweden to Japan)
The JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (Short-term) from the Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education (STINT) in collaboration with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) support postdoctoral researchers from Sweden to undertake their postdoctoral training in Japan. The JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is open for research in all fields of the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences. Applicants must be a citizen or permanent resident of Sweden. Also eligible are persons who have been engaged in research continuously for a period of at least three years** at a university or research institution in Sweden. Such persons must be from a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan or from Taiwan or Palestine, have conducted research continuously for three or more years before the application deadline and must possess an excellen research record. The award provides a stipend of up to 362,000 JPY/month for up to 12 months, plus relocation and settling allowance.
