The Kekulé Fellowship from the Fonds der Chemischen Industrie (FCI) funds PhD candidates in Germany working in chemistry or chemistry-related life science research. Applicants should be German or EU nationals in Germany. Students of any nationality who have completed their studies in Germany are also eligible to apply. The Fellowship provides a monthly stipend of 1850 EUR + additional benefits for 36 months. There are three application rounds per year with closing dates on: March 1, July 1, and November 1.

The next applications close on July 1, 2024.
