The Kidney Cancer Research Program: Nurse-Initiated Research Award from the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) supports innovative, high-impact kidney cancer research, conducted by nurses working in clinical practice and/or an academic environment (DNP or PhD), to advance ideas or clinical care. The PI must be a licensed registered nurse with a terminal degree of a DNP and/or PhD (or equivalent). The program is open to researchers in the USA and worldwide, including both academic institutions and biotech companies.

The award provides up to 300,000 USD over 2 years. Indirect costs may be covered.
