The F. J. McGuigan Dissertation Award from the American Psychological Foundation (APF) supports dissertation research that addresses mental function (e.g., cognition, affect, motivation) and seeks to understand the mind from both a behavioral and neural perspective. Applicants should have completed their PhD candidacy at the time of application. Applications are open to researchers affiliated with nonprofit charitable, educational or scientific institution, or governmental entity operating exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Host institutions must be located in countries whereby the USA has diplomatic ties. The fellowship provides 2,000 USD.
