Develop guidance for better research methods (UK medical research)

The Develop guidance for better research methods funding scheme supported by the Medical Research Council (MRC) and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), facilitates the development of new guidance for health and biomedical research methods. The new guidance should:

  • improve the understanding and use of better methods related to the remit of MRC or NIHR
  • be accessible to those without specialist methodology knowledge.

Applicants must be based at an eligible UK institution. Applicants may apply for a total of 120,000 GBP (direct costs only) for up to 18 months. This is an annual fund and the next applications close on June 8, 2022.
