The Melanoma Research Program: Team Science Award from the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) supports hypothesis-driven, multidisciplinary studies that inhibit melanoma earlier in the disease progression to prevent metastasis, reduce suffering, and increase survival. This award seeks to bring together investigators from divergent disciplines to achieve innovations and advancements in melanoma research and/or patient care that could not be achieved by any one investigator working independently. The program is open to researchers in the USA and worldwide. Applicants must be independent investigators at any career level employed by or affiliated with an eligible organization. Team must be multidisciplinary, and consist of two to three established Principal Investigators. Inclusion of at least one military, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or Early Career Investigator is encouraged. Clinical trials are not allowed.
The Award provides up to 1,500,000 USD for direct costs over 3 years.
