Mid-Career Fellowships (UK humanities and social sciences)

The Mid-Career Fellowships from The British Academy support outstanding established UK researchers in the humanities and social sciences. Applicants should have published scholarly works and be considered thought leaders in their field, typically within 15 years of completing their doctorate. These Fellowships are covered under the Full Economic Costing (FEC) regime, but the Academy’s contribution to the salary of the Mid-Career Fellow will be capped at an upper limit of £80,000. It is not expected that the total value of an award will exceed £160,000 (BA contribution to FEC). The award duration is from 6 to 12 months. Applications close on September 7, 2022.
