ORCID Global Participation Fund (low and lower-middle-income countries)

The ORCID Global Participation Fund is offered by Orcid, Inc. in an effort to provide universal uptake of ORCID, a persistent digital identifier (an ORCID iD) for those contributing to scholarly literature. This funding is intended for non-profit organizations, NGOs and government entities where the benefit/impact of the grant needs to be seen in one (or more) the countries listed in “low- and lower-middle-income economies”. This funding is to support work to promote the uptake of ORCID organizational membership and community building. Two grant types are offered: 1) Grants for Community Development and 2) Outreach and Grants for Technical Integration.

This fund will offer between 5,000 and 20,000 USD for one year. Applications are due on October 13, 2022.
