The Predoctoral Fellowship Program from Autism Speaks supports PhD students working on autism worldwide. The candidate must be an enrolled student in a program leading to a research doctorate (such as a Ph.D. or Sc.D.) or a combined degree such as an M.D./Ph.D. in an academic department of an accredited university or health/medical institution. The candidate must have two or more years remaining in their program. The fellowship provides $38,000 USD/year (a stipend of $27,000 plus a $11,000 annual allowance). The allowance can be used for fringe benefits, research costs and supplies, professional travel and/or tuition reimbursement. Indirect costs are not allowed. Letters of intent are due on May 3, 2023 and invited full applications are due on June 7, 2023.
