Research Grants on Improving the Use of Research Evidence (USA social justice)

The Research Grants on Improving the Use of Research Evidence from the William T. Grant Foundation supports research on strategies to improve the use of research evidence in ways that benefit young people ages 5-25 in the United States. The Foundation welcomes applications from researchers working on various youth-serving systems, including justice, housing, child welfare, mental health, and education. Applications from researchers based at traditionally underrepresented institutions are particularly encouraged, including

  • Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)
  • Hispanic-serving Institutions
  • Tribally Colleges and Universities (TCUs)
  • Alaska Native-Serving Institutions
  • Native Hawaiian-Serving Institutions
  • and Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISIs)

Funding of up to 1 million USD (including 15% indirect costs) for up to 4 years are available.
