Richard Olney Clinician Scientist Development Award in ALS (neurology worldwide)

The Richard Olney Clinician Scientist Development Award in ALS funded by the ALS Association and American Brain Foundation, in collaboration with the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), supports clinical research and encourages early career investigators in clinical studies in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Applicants must be based at accredited US and international institutions. The recipient must be an AAN member interested in an academic career in neurological research who has completed residency or a PhD no more than 7 years prior to the beginning of this award (July 1, 2024). This award will consist of a commitment of $75,000 per year for three years, plus a $5,000 per year stipend to support education and research-related costs for a total of $240,000.
