The Grants for Public Programs And Community Projects from American-Scandinavian Foundation (ASF) supports public programs and community projects that will strengthen and promote the preservation or innovation of living Scandinavian cultural traditions. This support encompasses community festivals, celebrations, heritage events, workshops, performances, classes, and demonstrations in the Upper Midwest (North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan). Non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) status are eligible to apply for grants for public programs.

The program provides funding of 5,000 to 50,000 USD. Applications close on September 1, 2024.
