The Grants for Arts Projects (GAP) from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) provide expansive funding opportunities to strengthen the USA’s arts and cultural ecosystem. Applications are open to the following artistic disciplines:

  • Artist Communities
  • Arts Education
  • Dance
  • Design
  • Folk & Traditional Arts
  • Literary Arts
  • Local Arts Agencies
  • Media Arts
  • Museums
  • Music
  • Musical Theater
  • Opera
  • Presenting & Multidisciplinary Works
  • Theater
  • Visual Arts

The following are eligible to apply:

  • Non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3), U.S. organizations;
  • Units of state or local government; or
  • Federally recognized tribal communities or tribes.

Applicants may apply for up to 100,000 USD in funding for up to 2 years, with a cost-sharing component.

Applications are due on July 11, 2024.
